2013 is going to chock full of new and art and doodles…First up: Primates!

Yup, it’s the project I’ve been working on for the past 4 years…written by the amazing Jim Ottaviani, published by the also-amazing First Second Books. Here’s a profile page for the book, and you can pre-order on Amazon. The official release for Primates is June 11 2013, and I’ve got a whole lot of fun stuff to post about it.

Oh, and in case you didn’t notice, I spruced up the blog with some foliage (and a chimp).

AGENT WITH FIRE ABILITIES (Alaskan Division)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Q-Agent with Fire Abilities or Fire Specialist supports the Head Alaskan Big Fire Operative in day to day exercises, military campaigns, and general operations of Big Fire’s Alaskan compound. The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple tasks and follow all directives under penalty of death and/or torture. This is an exciting opportunity for an aggressive and talented pyrotechnic, mystic or super-villain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to general duties including battling enemy combatants, colonizing and enslaving the local populace and supporting overall efforts of the Head Alaskan Big Fire Operative, the Fire Specialist is expected to use his or her abilities to ensure the safety of his fellow agents and operatives. The fire specialist may be called upon to provide heat for the Alaskan branch should an unforeseen incident occur with the branch’s Shizuma Drive. The Fire Specialist may also be asked to cook meals or dry agents’ uniforms should the compound’s appliances become damaged or inoperable. The Fire Agent is expected to light the cigars of visiting members of the Magnificent Ten immediately upon request or be put to death.

REQUIREMENTS

• BA or BS in Military Villainy or equivalent work experience

• Must be able to emit 40 MMBtu/hr.

• Must be able to heat a 1,000 square foot space for 36 hours or more

• Outstanding organizational, verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to take criticism and adjust performance accordingly

• Must pledge absolute loyalty or be annihilated at Big Fire’s discretion.

• Must be willing to relocate and possess reliable transportation i.e. copter, hover craft, etc.

• Restaurant or food preparation experience is a plus
